SEO to become a Trademark

The online community has been in an uproar since the news that someone is in the process of obtaining a trademark for the term “SEO.”

Can you imagine what this will do to all of us in the online community? Why would anyone wants to buy the trademark for the term SEO? I thought this is an open community and everybody online have the right to everything. This guy must be another jerk who just wants to monopolize the search engine optimization market.

He can hang onto the trademark. He’ll never be able to hang onto the term. Unless he plans to devote the rest of his life to filing lawsuits.IMO. Interesting post.
