When you come to the Internet looking for ways to make money online, it is imperative to have a plan to build and develop a real internet business. To succeed online, you should have several things in place before you go out and throw money at every program that surface on the Internet. I have found several things MUST be in place in order for you to be able to succeed online.

You truly can have a business blueprint that will take your internet business opportunity and make it a success. If you want to avoid the 95% that fail to make any money online, there are resources that you must have in place to make your ideas work. Here, I will discuss some of them in the hope of either helping you get started or, to help you have more success than you might be already experiencing.

I decided to take some of these imperative resources and programs and list them in order of importance to help you see the importance of having a real game plan for your internet business opportunity

1). A Website of your own - you need to have a website that you own and operate with your own domain name.

You can use a blog or CMS like Joomla for certain projects. You still however, should own your own domain name. There are marketing situations that only your own domain can bring the right traffic to.

2). A good Domain registar is a must. I recommend www.godaddy.com

3). A Web Hosting Company. I recommend www.millionhosting.com for cheap and the best web hosting you could ever find on the internet.

4). A top notch autoresponder service. Go to GOOGLE and type in autoresponder, there are many good ones to choose from. I personally use Aweber.

5). A top paying affiliate product or a product of your own to promote. It must be a hot selling product with high demand (lots of monthly searches) and low supply (not too many competing websites).

There are of course, other things that must be taken into consideration if you want to succeed at your home based business opportunity. I primarily wanted to focus on the basics of what you need to get started in the right direction. I could write a series of books just on what ALL it takes to succeed, and many others have done so and still do.

The most important thing you can do is research your field and study and learn all you can. Use as many free resources as you can. The Internet is flooded with good free resources. You can also use Clickbank, and other affiliate networks to find programs you can promote. These sites are also good at giving you ideas about maybe developing your own product or service.

Learn all you can about the many different ways as you can to make money online. Choose one type of business or program and run with it. Make yourself an expert. Stay focused on one thing at a time. Go slowly. Be persistent. Don’t quit!

Success begins and ends with you! No one can make you a success but you. There are many good resources and teachers online that can help you succeed, but in the end it is all up to you. You can do it! You must take that first step. Start now!

Whatever you decide to go with, the truth is there is no secret to getting rich from internet business. There are two ways to really make an income from the internet. Good old fashioned hard work and effort or scamming people with a get rich quick scheme. So I am sorry to disappoint anyone who thought they could learn how to start making a thousand dollars a week instantly working only a few hours. But if you have a valid credit card, there are several guys willing to sell you ebooks and programs promising some sort of secret to getting rich easily and quickly.

The moral of the story is, it takes time, effort and hard work to make a decent income from the internet. It’s not easy and it doesn’t happen overnight regardless of the hype that’s out there. If you aren’t willing to work hard at it, it probably won’t happen. You need to have determination to make it work and you have to keep at it. You reap what you sow and if you put the time and work into it, you will be rewarded once it pays off.
